Reclaim Your Life from Trauma & Abuse

Virtual Therapy for Trauma and Abuse in Texas

Trauma and abuse leave deep, invisible scars that affect every part of your life—from your sense of safety and self-worth to your relationships and ability to trust others

Trauma is not just an event that happened in the past—it’s something that can feel alive in your body, mind, and emotions every day.

You are struggling to move forward, feeling stuck in patterns of fear, anxiety, or sadness that seem impossible to escape

DO YOU FIND YOURSELF THINKING:

  • "I can’t seem to stop reliving what happened to me, and it’s affecting everything."

  • "I feel disconnected from myself and the people I love. It’s hard to trust anyone."

  • "Sometimes I feel numb, and other times I’m overwhelmed by anxiety or anger."

  • "I’m exhausted from keeping it together for everyone else, but I’m falling apart inside."

  • "It feels like no one understands the depth of what I’ve been through, and I don’t know how to start healing."

Healing from trauma is a process, and it’s okay to take it one step at a time.

Our Team

At Intentional Therapy PLLC, we specialize in providing culturally-attuned, non-traditional therapy for BIPOC individuals, particularly those from South and East Asian backgrounds. Founded in March 2021 by Parthi B. Patel, a first-generation South Asian American, our practice understands the unique challenges faced by first- and second-generation individuals, such as bi-cultural identity struggles and intergenerational trauma.

We’ve created a space where you don’t have to explain your culture—our therapists ‘just get it,’ because we’ve lived it.

We have since expanded our practice to include other mental health professionals. Each of our therapists has unique areas of specialization and expertise, allowing us to collaborate and provide a range of care to individuals, couples, families, and organizations.”
