Is Parenting Feeling Overwhelming or Stressful?
Expert Parenting Support Therapy in Texas
You might feel the added pressure of balancing cultural expectations with modern-day parenting challenges.
Parenting is one of the most rewarding experiences, but it can also be one of the most stressful and confusing.
Whether you’re dealing with your child’s behavioral issues, struggling with discipline, or feeling unsure about how to guide them through their identity as part of a bi-cultural family, parenting can leave you feeling emotionally drained, frustrated, and uncertain about your next steps.
Parenting is never easy, but when it starts to affect your mental and emotional well-being, or if you feel disconnected from your child or partner, it may be time to seek support.

Our Team
At Intentional Therapy PLLC, we specialize in providing culturally-attuned, non-traditional therapy for BIPOC individuals, particularly those from South and East Asian backgrounds. Founded in March 2021 by Parthi B. Patel, a first-generation South Asian American, our practice understands the unique challenges faced by first- and second-generation individuals, such as bi-cultural identity struggles and intergenerational trauma.
We’ve created a space where you don’t have to explain your culture—our therapists ‘just get it,’ because we’ve lived it.
We have since expanded our practice to include other mental health professionals. Each of our therapists has unique areas of specialization and expertise, allowing us to collaborate and provide a range of care to individuals, couples, families, and organizations.”
