My Therapeutic Style & Approach

I prioritize creating a space that blends honesty, empathy, and experiential exploration. My approach is rooted in the understanding that all of our behaviors, whether constructive or maladaptive, stem from a desire to survive and adapt to our environment.

My aim in therapy is to help clients rediscover and reparent the wounded parts of themselves, creating new pathways for healing relational wounds through the security and trust established in our therapeutic relationship.

My primary focus is on healing attachment wounds, relational trauma, and the impact of family of origin dynamics on current relationships. I am particularly drawn to exploring how intersectionality and identity influence adult relationships. With couples, I enjoy working on balancing professional ambitions with relationship needs, helping partners find ways to prioritize their connection without sacrificing individual aspirations.

We’ll explore the subtle “papercuts”—the small, overlooked moments that, over time, can erode trust and intimacy—to stop these patterns from damaging the relationship further.

I bring a direct yet compassionate style, using techniques such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems, and Internal Family Systems to facilitate insight and transformation. My sessions are grounded in presence and experiential work, guiding clients to feel their emotions deeply within a safe space. My goal is for clients to leave sessions with a clearer sense of their authentic selves, a deeper understanding of their relationships, and a strengthened ability to embrace vulnerability.

In addition to relationship work, I am deeply invested in supporting clients through major life transitions, such as early adulthood, parenthood, and post-divorce. I am passionate about helping clients find purpose and meaning, especially those who may feel lost or disconnected.

Through powerful questions and attuned listening, I support clients in uncovering their insights, guiding them to a place where they feel chosen, valued, and capable of sustaining and nurturing authentic connections.
